We are specialists in manufacturing equipment for the application of thin coating layers, both on new pavements for low to medium traffic, and for functional restoration of high-traffic lanes.
The techniques presented below increase the durability of asphalt pavements, provide more comfort and safety to the user, in addition to reducing the cost of maintaining highways, rural and urban roads.
Surface Treatment by Inverted Penetration – A Surface Treatment by Inverted Penetration consists of applying the asphalt material on the underlying surface and then distributing the aggregate and compressing it, so that the asphalt material, when reflowing, recovers, partially, the particles of the aggregate, fixing them to the pavement structure.
Surface Treatment by Direct Penetration – An asphalt treatment by direct penetration, consists of initially distributing and compressing the aggregate and then applying the asphalt material, which will thus penetrate from top to bottom.
Simple Surface Treatment – Treatments performed through the application of only one layer, consisting of an application of asphalt material and an application of aggregate. They are wear layers, therefore, they should not be considered part of the pavement structure, when designing.
Double Surface Treatment – Treatments performed through the application of two superimposed layers, each consisting of an application of asphalt material and an application of aggregate. They are wear layers, therefore, they should not be considered part of the pavement structure, when designing.
Triple Surface Treatment – Treatments performed through the application of three superimposed layers, each consisting of an application of asphalt material and an application of aggregate. The Cold Triple Surface Treatment consists of the execution of a Double Surface Treatment with a Sealing Cover. They are wear layers, therefore, they should not be considered part of the pavement structure, when designing.
Cold Surface Treatment – These are treatments performed using a fast-breaking cationic asphalt emulsion, modified by polymer type SBS.
Hot Surface Treatment – Treatments performed using Asphalt Petroleum Cement Modified by Elastomeric Polymers, as well as Petroleum Asphalt Cement modified with rubber.
Sealing Cover – It is a Simple Surface Asphalt Cold Treatment, by Inverted Penetration, applied over asphalt coatings, in order to improve the waterproofing conditions of the pavement structure. It also has the function of rejuvenating the surface of old pavements, worn out by the action of traffic and bad weather.
Cape Seal – is a type of thin asphalt coating composed by the combination of a Simple Surface Treatment, using aggregates of high nominal size (3/8″ or 1/4″), with asphalt slurry or micro-pavement (must penetrate the Simple Surface Treatment, and not form another layer)
Micro-pavement – It is a mixture of aggregates with a specific granulometric range, asphalt emulsion with controlled rupture modified by polymers, mineral fillers, additives, fibers (if any) and water, whose proportions are defined by strict design criteria.
Asphalt Sludge – A mixture with a special slow breaking asphalt emulsion with fine, well graded aggregate, mineral filler and water, having the consistency of a slurry.
Hole plug kit – this is a multi-task equipment that has a thermal silo that holds CBUQ and PMF, material deposit, compressed air, diesel oil, emulsion, connection painting tube, breaker, vibrating plate and poly-cut saw.
Synchronized Aggregate Distributor – It is a truck that simultaneously applies the emulsion and the aggregates. Precise control of product dosage prevents executive failures, providing a superior quality floor.
Asphalt spreader – This equipment, in paving operations, sprays emulsion on the pavement.
Pre-Mixed Cold Plant (PMF) – It is a mixture of mineral aggregates with medium or slow rupture asphalt emulsion.
Asphalt Plant – It is equipment that mixes with high quality, hot, made of asphalt cement and dense aggregate, of high quality, compacted forming a dense uniform mass.
